Greenzone Facilities Management to recycle swimming garments for charity
The British Gas Big Dip is a major urban swim festival that is heading to two British cities (London and Manchester) this summer, is the brainchild of Olympic swimming medallist Stephen Parry and offers summer swimming like never before.
The British Gas Big Dip, in association with Speedo, the world's leading swim brand will feature a 25m-sized outdoor pool and a beach.
Greenzone Facilities Management have been appointed by Speedo to recycle swimming garments collected from the London and Manchester events to be held in June and July 2011. Through Greenzone's help, money will be donated to Cancer Research UK based on the amount of materials (tonnage) collected and sent for recycling.
